Rekita is a proud native of a small rural town in northeastern North Carolina, where she developed a strong appreciation for education, community, and the value of homeownership. She is passionate about sharing knowledge and empowering others to make informed decisions across various aspects of life.
A graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Rekita has called the Triangle area home for over 20 years. Her deep roots in the region, combined with firsthand experience of its significant growth and transformation, provide her with a comprehensive and nuanced understanding of the local market. Rekita also spent almost 5 years living in California’s Bay Area, where she developed a more diverse perspective on people, lifestyles, and the unique needs of clients from all walks of life.
Prior to her career in real estate, Rekita worked as a social worker (and in Finance more recently), where she cultivated a genuine passion for helping others navigate important life decisions. She became a licensed real estate professional in 2021 and brings with her a strong foundation in finance, further enhancing her ability to guide clients through the buying and selling process with confidence and clarity.
Outside of her professional life, Rekita enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time in nature. She is also a proud dog mom to Nova, who brings joy and balance to her busy lifestyle.
